For this project, I was prompted to utilize analog typography to design vinyl art for an album inspired by an artist of my choosing. I came up with a hypothetical album for Harry Styles, called Metamorphosis. Metamorphosis is meant to symbolize Harry’s growth from boy-band to award-winning solo artist. I incorporated themes of gender-fluidity in the album along with an ode to Harry’s iconic butterfly tattoo.

Photography, Album Design, Branding
Growing up attending summer camp, making beaded jewelry is my speciality. After some layout sketching, the next step was to bead the necklaces. I tested the necklace lengths on a mannequin and had a friend be the neck model for the front cover. For the back cover, I experimented with different layouts that focused on the songs in the album while being playful with the color beads. Once I finished the design, I handcrafted the final vinyl packaging for submission.
