Six Degrees Campaign
Six Degrees is a campaign to promote self and social connections both in-person in the Penn State Pattee and Paterno library and digitally. Our goals were to foster empathy, encourage social interactions, and provide the realization that everyone is similar in their differences. This campaign is part of the Evanisko Project, a grant-funded initiative to encourage connectedness at Penn State.

We began this process by presenting individual proposals for the Evanisko Project. We then found common themes throughout our ideas and created groups based on this. We started researching and mood-boarding to see how our ideas could evolve. Next came the sketching, conducting surveys, analyzing competitors, and establishing brand guidelines. We also conducted a site study of the Pattee and Paterno Library to determine our opportunities and limitations for the physical space.
Some existing campaigns we analyzed are We’re Not Really Strangers and Spotify Wrapped. We determined what made these campaigns successful and used this as inspiration for our campaign.
